Default susan's words of wisdom

been thinking about susan saying that 'happiness is a choice, a daily
one."

as this summer comes to its end, just want to thank all of you. this
is a great group & i'm glad to have found it.

a brief preface to this seasonal transition/in appreciation video. i
walked out of a homeopath's office the other day with the following
remedy in my hands: the inky juice of the cuttlefish. in my snarky
way, i cranked up the nick cave music & thought - no placebo effect to
worry about here...

the cuttlefish made me think about hawaii (dried cuttlefish is a treat
there), where i briefly lived & got married fifteen years ago this
september. hawaii made me think about the beauty of the islands & of
the people. & i thought about its music & about one of its most
beloved musicians, israel kamakawiwo'ole. (you have probably heard
his rendition of over the rainbow/wonderful world.) & all that made
me come back to blessings & happiness. as well as the kindness &
support that comes from the struggles. thanks:

Thank you! That video led me to the one you mentioned above, Over the
Rainbow. It always brings tears to my eyes. :-)

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

i thought that you would like that rendition. & that you'd like it
alot better than the one that nick cave does with the lead singer of
the pogues.

iz was an amazing musician & i was fortunate to see him perform while
he was alive. it was easy to see why he was so loved by the hawaiian
people.

struggling & being reflective. & trying to count my blessings - which
includes all of you.
