Default Terminal City

Has anyone followed this breast cancer drama series on Sundance? I saw
it for the first time last night (the episode toward the end in which
Katie has the recurrence of her cancer). I had very mixed reactions.
It's not a great show to absorb just before bedtime. The transitions
seemed jarring to me, in a style reminiscent of early MTV music video
in telling a multi layered story.
Any thoughts?

Sorry, but I've never heard of Terminal City. Is this something that takes
place south of the Canada/US border?
