Hoping someone in the group may have some answers or references.
I've had a vaginal discharge for almost two years. It's been treated
four times as a vaginal infection by my internist and it clears for
a month or two and returns ( my pap smears are negative). He sent me
on to a ob-gyn clinic where they said there was no sign of an
infection but instead I had vaginal atrophy from lack of estrogen.
They put me on Vagifem. There has been no improvement after daily
use for two weeks.
I can find references to vaginal discharge and it's causes. They
have all been ruled out. I can find references to the symptoms of
lack of estrogen. If I had a problem, I didn't know it.

However
nowhere can I find anything that says vaginal atrophy can cause a
thick, yellowish vaginal discharge.
I'm beginning to wonder whether the latest doctor just decided to
treat the atrophy and ignore the rest. Any input would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Babs
