| | | Are we getting cross posted a lot? Before I open asm, XNews shows something like 60 posts, but on opening it I
find 8. Since I have XNews set to kill anything that's crossposted, I'm
thinking we're getting hit? Is it anything I should look at, or am I
better off just ignoring it?

It is a paradoxical but profoundly true and important principle of life

itself but at some more ambitious goal beyond it.

If you want to have a fun time with hot women, or read the MI5Victim's
latest crusade, by all means check it out. :-)

Oh, okay. I thought it might be trolls hiding from the sun in mom's
basement now that school is out.
That's an awful lot of crossposting allofasudden, though.

Yeah, I noticed the same phenomenon in all my newsgroups. Well, except
for the dumpster-diving group.

Yes, I'm getting it everywhere but in my sexuality group. Ironic,
isn't it? Heheheh. It's moderated, of course.

they just curb-crawl.

I make bets with myself whenever I put something out at the curb - or if my
neighbors do; how long it'll be before the item's gone. ;-) Often 20
minutes or less; sometimes a few hours. Almost as much of a given as
leaving something w/a "Free" sign on a table in the staff liounge at
school...

Right - the article mentions "freegans" -
"During her 20's, she joined antiglobalization activists
protesting the World Bank and encountered freegans —
Dumpster-diving anticonsumerists who aspire to buy nothing."
There was also an article about freegans last week in the NYT,
but it was under Times Select.

It was posted in its entirety on the group. Interesting.
