Sounds like your friends needs to ask a lot more questions. Her Dr needs to
be giving her more information. Maybe the "thing is in an area where it will
take more time then they had to remove it.
I am post menopausal and have had bleeding...they did a Uterine Biopsy ..not
nice

It came back with changes but so far not cancer..although my Dr did
mention that Uterine Cancer can take as long as 10 years to develop so we
are taking a wait and see approach..the Dr's I have gone to all want to do
surgery..but I just don't want to go through another surgery for a while. I
was diagnosed with fibroids back in 88 but they didn't cause any problems
until my last year of peri-menopause...some heavy bleeding but not heavy
enough for real concern. I am a few years into Menopause and the fibroids
are still there. I have one pretty close by the cervix..the GYN I just went
to was just doing a hand exam and he could feel a small one. He wasn't to
concerned ...I think he was a bit miffed because I refused surgery
