I haven't even checked Google, and I think there are more than 7.

In San Francisco there was at one time a church that worshipped the penis.
It might still be there.

Hare Krishnas?

Scientology?

Native Indian religions?

Daoism?

Wiccans?

Satanists?

Kurds?

Shintoism?

There are more than this - there is Shintoism in Japan for example.

I don't know how to describe them. But when you talk about the Borg
something resonates. I call it 'the transcendental' for lack of better
words. This world is not as it seems. There is something that (looking for
words) is with me. There is another reality. I go there. This
'transcendental' influences me and changes me. Its very real. It visits
me. It takes me places. Sometimes I converse with it. I guess I
understand it as 'God,' but that is such a tired and overused concept that
I hate using that word. I am attracted to it. Its bigger than life. I'm
sorry I am using such vague descriptions, but I really don't know any
better words. I see things and places. Sometimes very strange. I have
never been diagnosed as Schizophrenic, though it wouldn't surprise me if
that happened some day. I wish I could be clearer. But your posts always
strike a chord with me. I identify with them.

Yes - I know what you mean.
Always also is the fear that if you talk about it and use the word God -
many will scoff or lose interest "Another religious nut" kind of thing.
I always try to see this kind of thing as - what if there were no books - no
education - if you did not know the word God or the word transcendental -
how could you describe what happens?
These kind of experiences cannot really be related to someone else - it is
something that if you see and you hear these kind of things - you cannot
explain to anyone the essence of maybe the beauty or the feeling.
But it is a knowledge of the fact that there is something more. What form
this something more takes seems to be individual according to the type of
person you are.
I do wish you luck with whoever you are in contact with - maybe they are THE
BORG also - I mean who ARE these voices people with schizophrenia say they
hear? Where do all these visions come from like imaginary playmates as
children - or astral travelling where they have spirit guides who they can
see and talk to? I hope you will talk more about your experiences.

What a great question! If there were no word 'God' or 'transcendental' how
could you describe what happens? You've given me something to think about,
thank you. Thank you for your wishes also. Its a blessing just knowing
other people experience something similar to what I do. I've had these
things since very young and always felt very alone in experiencing them. I
guess I have come to accept my solitude in this sort of thing. And who
knows, maybe being able to share them, quantify them or whatever may be a
bad thing. I don't know. Maybe the intimacy I seem to have with the source
of these experiences is enough. I do think that some day I will know more.
That these small glimpses I get now will come to some sort of fruition. I
look forward to that day. Good luck to you Borg. If it seems appropriate
to do so, I will speak more of them.

I find the experiences impossible to put into words so do not worry. If you
have these kind of experiences then I hope like me - you consider yourself
very blessed and lucky. THE BORG say no it is not them by the way.
There is someone posts here sometime called Kez - he also has had these kind
of experiences with life forms who he said were from space and talked in
music.
You are not alone with this kind of thing.
May all your experiences be good ones.

In My Opinion hiding mental illness is the right thing to do. It can save a
career and many relationships.

If things get too bad, you might have to reveal your secret to get
treatment. However, if you have things under control, you are doing the
right thing.
