Default Abilify

Sunday I will have totally switched to abilify.

So far I took both meds at the same time slowly
building down the amount of the old med.

So far no side affects from abilify, so that is good.

I experience no sleeplessness no restlessness
it really surprises me.

Now lets see if i will drop in weight soon.
I could loose another 10 kg.

Berty

I wish you the best of luck, but I hated Abilify. I'll keep my gripes to
myself, for now, so I don't prejudice you too much.

When it first came out there was much hope for Abilify.

Berty,
i was on Abilify for two or there about years and i also experienced no
disturbed sleep or restlessness. but it did tend to run my thoughts
together, which i wasnt even aware that it was doing until i was off of it.
i take Geodon now and i love it so far.
also you should be warned if you havent been that Abilify causes weight
gain in some people, not all but some. i was one of those people. i gained a
lot while on it. when i couldnt take it anymore my pdoc still wouldnt take
me off for a additional 6 months. but i am back down 35 pounds as of now
with quite a few pounds to go. just thought id warn you.
personally i hope it works like wonders for you. every drug works
different for different people. so Abilify may be perfect for you, heres
hoping it is!

Hello Quiet Neighbour ,

A shame that abilify didn't work for you. My sister didn't like it
also
and a good friend of mine took it for 14 days and went back to zyprexa
because he had sleeping problems.

Berty

Hello Anita,

I was already surprised that I gained a kilo while on both meds the
last
three weeks. I hope it will go down again because I ate a lot of
cookies
the last weeks. I will stop that again. My sister was also on geodon
but she couldn't sleep for a month and had to go to hospital because
if you don't sleep for a month you will become unstable. Now she is
back on Zyprexa and that is a step back. I'll keep you posted on
my weight on abilify ok.

Berty
