Default Acceptance

I have now been through denial, grief and anger phases of losing my
wife. I believe, no I hope, I am to the point of accepting that she is
gone, never to be what we were. Of all the phases, this seems to be
the hardest one because it feels like all of the former ones combined.
I could handle (if only barely) them one at a time, but all three
overwhelms me. I just keep going one second to the next.

Hey Chris. Breaking up is really really hard, and it hurts. I hope
you're okay...

I never thought I could feel this shitty over her leaving. I never
thought that she would do this to me. However I am doing marginally
o.k. I am trying my best to keep from fixating my thoughts on her, but
I am finding myself thinking about her every time my mind wanders.
