Am i an alcoholic?

I´m drinking 1 to 5 beers an evening. Today i´m drinking a bottle of white
wine.
What do you think?

No, you're not an alcoholic. If you are, I am definitely one. I drink
about 14 beers every 2 days...I drink one night, sleep a day, then 48
hours later I drink again....and it's beer that is 5.9% alcohol....

I have to admit...I take Zyprexa and it adds to the interesting outlook
on life when I drink....gotta love life through chemistry...

So here it is...."One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" for my friend

There are some tests you can do to see so.
Try and not drink for a month and if you really crave one - you're
hooked.
Or if you can't keep from having a drink when your friends drink -
you're hooked socially.
I'm not a big one for the drink, but if I had my say so I'd smoke pot
everyday. I might get back on it when they find a cure for paranoia.
Oh yeah, and if I can buy joints by the pack.

Can you fuck on the level now? At this time the power corruption
and lies as a societal force in my life are stronger than the intoxins I'm
having to use and seem to ruthlessly counteract them with pain-pleasure
these days less than zero-sum that what would otherwise be a reliable
indicator that humanity has validity of reason to transact the truths
it used to be the physical manifestation of. Are your feelings of
"love" truely relative enough to the fucking stupidity of bringing
children into this world?

The brandy helps, the (unusual I know ;-) 5mg three times a day of
benzhexol is very powerfull, as anyone who has tried it will testify.
Mustn't grumble :-)

I enjoy a bottle of wine almost every day-except Mondays-cos Mondays
are the livers day for rejuvenation-the thing 2 remember health wise is

and i wouldn´t consider them alcoholics.

NO ONE can you that you are or are not!! YOU have to admit to
yourself that you are powerless over alcoholic before labeling
yourself one or getting others to verify it. Being an alcoholic is
your own state of mind, not some sort of test or what others say. Try
hitting a mess of AA meetings and buying a Big Book and determine for
your self.. Go to an AA meeting and I am sure that many people will
tell you what I am saying. Try looking up 'the twelve steps of AA'
also. I am a (proud) member of AA, NA and CA.

I wonder what a pack of joints would cost? You could gets Joint Kings

lowgrade (get you by weed).

in the morning. Are you on dopamine blockers (thorazine, zyprexa,
abilify, etc.)? By blocking the neurotransmitter of the reward system of
the brain, dopamine, these falsely called "antipsychotic" drugs make
people feel miserable, and most people will do anything to feel better.
If you need to chase down six vodka tonics with six beers at night, if
you're on dopamine blockers, you're still not an alcoholic, you're a
natural human being.

I am on dopamine blockers but i also am sometimes very happy and don´t feel
miserable.
I think the dopamine doesn´t get blocked out totally otherwise we couldn´t
function to well, it´s just getting regulated. And besides that, there are
other neurotransmitters and hormons and what else that can you make feel
happy. And besides that there is something like soul or spirit or whatever
that can you make feel happy.

euthanasia to dopamine blockers! Dopamine blockers don't stop

There was a period I drank 3 half liters a day, that ammounts to 5
beers
every evening, but I stopped without withdrawel effects from one day to
the other. Nowadays I haven't drank a beer for months now and I don't
miss it. My girlfriend often feels depressed and she needs a drink then
and I mostly join her. But she has been hospitalized for two months
and is now home again. So far she doesn't need a drink, but lets see
how it goes. Whether you are an alcoholic, I think you are a slight
alcoholic with dicipline.
