Default backtracking

back your mind up, to a sure memory
think about it again, does your reaction change?
do you recognise that your thoughts are the benefit of hindsight in
disguise?

you can go back in time, but you can't unthink your thoughts
there are two streams of consoiousness, time and thought
can i deliberatly forget my thoughts between then and now and try again?

i have not found myself able to do this,
so, my thoughts do not rewind like my memory does

there is a third stream, which is awareness of surroundings, or "perception"
two streams cannot be turned back,
only memory can go back,

trying to be a robot ends in failure!
