Default Bacopa monnieri

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacopa_monnieri

It is a plant extract, available online or at any vitamin shop. It is
supposed to improve memory, mental stability, lower anxiety, help
relieve stress, and improves GABA and glutamate production/
transmission. It is also an antioxidant.

No major side effects. It sounds almost too good to be true. Usually
you have to take it for two or three weeks to really notice its
effects. I just got it yesterday and took one pill of 100mg last
night. I definitely felt more relaxed. Some people suggest 200 to 300
mg/daily for full effect.

Has anyone else had any experience with this herb? The variety of
benefits seem promising for my situation.

Default Re: Bacopa monnieri

I'd also like to add that Bacopa seems to have some interactions with
some antipsychotics.

But I've read a few studies where it's been added with a few different
atypicals with no problems and slight improvement in symptoms.
