bad dreams

I have been getting bad dreams for many years. I am wondering if
Risperdal could cause those bad dreams. If not, what else could be
causing me to have bad dreams.

Do you take Risperdal at bedtime or in the morning? Maybe if you took it at
around 9 PM, it could help you sleep better with good dreams. Or if you got
really desperate, you could take a very low dose of Thorazine at bedtime.

My guess is that my SZ/SZA causes bad dreams. I found that clonazapam at
bedtime reduced the bad dreams.

When I was taking Risperdal I also got a lot of dreams.
But my dreams were not bad dreams.
I guess Risperdal causes you to dream a lot, a shame
that you have bad dreams and not happy ones.
Especially if you take a little of Risperdal

I've been having an active dream-life for the past month or so, I
hadn't thought it was because of medication, but I'm on Abilify.
Mostly my dreams are pleasant. Are you on any other meds?

Risperdal is causing your bad dreams. Risperdal is a dopamine
blocker. Dopamine is the neurotransmitter of the reward center of the
brain so that risperdal will never allow anyone to have good dreams.
