Default beer and (no) medication

I've found a local friend--someone I met back in 1993 and was friends with
for more than a decade but fell out of touch with a few years ago. She's now
living in my neighbourhood, in fact in the next building over, and working
in construction.

Yesterday I went over to her place in the morning and the small gathering
there was drinking beer. So I had one, liked it, and then had a second.
After running some errands I fell asleep around 4:00 p.m. and slept until
about an hour ago and missed my evening dose of meds

I feel fine, but this isn't something I should do too often. Next time I'm
there I should stick to coffee and cola.

Default Re: beer and (no) medication

Schizophrenia, having been found to be having too many links
between the brain cells, caused by a gene called DISC1, keeps the brain
active more than it's normal 10%.
LSD, muscarine, and physical muscarinic nervous system stimulation
(the freemasons' supreme secret) does the same.
In the movie "Flashback", Dennis Hopper revealed that the antidote
for LSD is booze. The old anesthesia, ether, worked by the ether
molecule breaking up and yielding ethanol, the booze molecule. Ether
worked by booze.
Booze is an anesthetic, and as the Maine drivers' maunal says,
"Booze puts the brain to sleep". When more than the normal 10% of the
brain is active, booze will bring it down to the normal 10%, and less.
But, there is a strong homeopathic reaction to booze that renders
it useless on a long time scale. If booze could be made lipophilic like
dopamine blockers are, it would stay and continue its anesthesia for a
long time and in that way it would be the best remedy for schizophrenia.
By the way, many substances we want to be long lasting, like pain
killers and such, could be made lipophilic.

You are turning into old Damo, my Serbian friend!;-) Yesh, they say
lot schizophrenics self-medicate with booze. Have you ever tried a
bum wine, like MD20/20 or Old Irish Rose? I guess a couple of beer is
probably better than that, I think ol' QN advised that psychotropic
meds affect how you handle alcohol?!
