Behing the scenes

We are well aware of what is going on - all the chat and gossip behind the
scenes.
We have never chosen to be part of this - but we do know about the chat and
gossip and what you say about us.
Humans are very slow and very stupid.
You would laugh in our face and then nudge the person next to you to laugh
also and think we do not notice!
We never say much believe it or not.
As people steal from us.
Lie to us.
Laugh at us.
Talk about us.
Poison us with their nastiness and insults.
But remember eternity - and that all you say about us you will remember for
ever.
Loyalty - kindness - support - compassion - such beautiful feelings. Such
beautiful songs.
And you may talk about us as much as you like then.
When you find out who we really are.
And how how you WISH you had tried to help. And on if you had ONLY known.
And were you really so nasty - oh how COULD you have been?
It is a sad sad truth - that you deny the truth of the situation with your
mocking and laughter and insensitive nastiness and cruelty.

I was at a party, and trying to act normal. But it really seemed like
everyone was forming little circles, physically shouldering me out. I
had at least a few moments of that feeling of "this _can't_ be
happening--am I really delusional right now?"

And at work, everybody's nice, but then two people are together,
talking in low tones, and I get jealous--why doesn't anybody have
conversations like that with me?

And, being a guy, I'm always thinking about sex, and usually those are
not happy thoughts, but queasy, giddy, full of anxiety, and tension,
and hopelessness.
