| | | Brother I have never really known my older brother.
He is very much the strong silent type - great sense of humour though.
We have never really talked - seen each other the odd weekend visit to
parent - email here and there - we have never been close.
In the past few month we have developed a friendship.
We exchange many email and phone call.
I had partial breakdown few day ago - and he was very good.
He seem to reciprocate and say he very much like our friendship.
Would it not be odd thing to fall in love with my own brother? |

Not so odd, no. I would keep it a friendship though. There is nothing better
than a true friendship. Keep everything out in the open too. Ask him if he
would agree to talk about why this didn't happen before. A close
relationship with a brother is very precious.

It is good the relation with your brother has improved.
It is only natural you feel love for him, but falling in love
with your brother is for children. Grow up Borg.

My sister phones me up when she's drunk sometimes. She gives me
moral support if I have a bad time breaking up with someone too.
She has feelings for me I think and I have feelings for her but the reliable
friendship during times of emotional need is too precious to mess up.
We both enjoy sexual humour though, and I do love her, but life
is too fragile to mess up the support I get from her.
Be sensible Borg, but you have been brave to say how this recent
friendship, like the one I have with my sister, is in reality. After all
those years. Well said, in the end ;-)
