Default Buphrionx (sp?)

I started pronouncing this drug wrong from the get go and can't find
any info on it on the web. It's being tested against zyprexa right
now. My doc has asked me if I want in on the study. After the invega
trial, I'm not so eager to jump at new meds. Does anyone know how to
correctly spell it? I'd like to do a little more research on it. I
see my doc this friday and will probably take a small dose of zyprexa
with a stronger dose of risperdal.
In my line of work, paranoia can be a deal breaker. I've been eating
too damn much lately. I'd like to be able to lay out at the beach and
not have PETA trying to rescue me.

This is the most anticipated antipsychotic drug in development. It has
been shown to be extremely effective at treating both positive and
negative symptoms, and some cognitive symptoms, and it has virtually
no heart problems, weight gain, and almost no movement disorders
associated with it. I'm so jealous. You must have a really great
doctor. It's a partial dopamine agonist, similar to Abilify, but with
less side effects and slightly more effective.

If you don't atleast give this drug a try for a few days I'll
personally come over there and kick you in the pants. Just kidding...
but seriously... you've nothing to lose. And if you don't want it,
then send it to me and I'll give you some $$.

Is it out yet? I might try it. Abilify is working in some nice
respects, but it is causing some problems too. I wonder what problems
this one is going to cause.

I am tired of being a guinea pig for different meds.

You can get it as study meds. It still has to be approved by FDA for
a regular script.

Unfortunately, where I'm located they don't do many studies regarding
schizophrenia. A few for bipolar, mostly involving Geodon, but that's
about it.
