Default the cause of side-effects?

The heavy-hitter psychiatrist told me that the active ingredient in
most psychoactive meds gets broken down into component parts during
digestion, and it's the useless shit among its component parts that
causes side-effects. But there is a medication just released in Canada
that enters the bloodstream intact and it's expected to have far fewer
and milder side-effects. I can't for the life of me remember the name
of the med, and in any case the brand name he told me is Canadian.
Maybe those of you seeing pdocs could ask about it.

It sounds like the med Erik the Red was talking about a month or two ago.

Yeah, he's tried a lot of different meds. He has a good doc who likes
to say "hey, lets try something new!" which I'm completely jealous of.
I'd wait for him to give a list of a few new meds and see if those are
it.

The kind of pdoc I want is someone exactly like my psychotherapist--
slow and cautious and methodical but responsive to my concerns. He has
basically waited for consultation from a more experienced colleague
before making major adjustments to my meds, but when I complained
about something he did adjust my dosage times and it worked. I have
full confidence now that I'll get help getting off the Zoloft and that
my TD issues will be addressed--maybe not in the near-panicked way QN
suggests, but with proper management and some alacrity.

1600mg vit e a day is supposed to help considerably with TD.

There is a pharmaceutical for TD, but it causes depression.

Vit E also increases amount of ejaculent, (side issue)
