The kind of pdoc I want is someone exactly like my psychotherapist--
slow and cautious and methodical but responsive to my concerns. He has
basically waited for consultation from a more experienced colleague
before making major adjustments to my meds, but when I complained
about something he did adjust my dosage times and it worked. I have
full confidence now that I'll get help getting off the
Zoloft and that
my TD issues will be addressed--maybe not in the near-panicked way QN
suggests, but with proper management and some alacrity.
