or watch everything about him, i dont think they should be showing all his
tapes and such, they are just glorifying him, and thus making more kids and
young adults want to do the same thing to get there name in the news, in my
personal opionion. so i stopped watching. though i have read some stuff
about him on the internet.
so with what i know about him i say "no he wasnt".

causing violent behavior.
Maybe, he was on amphetamines, or something.

| | | Re: "Cho" (Virginia Tech Gunman) How Say You? Paranoid Schizophrenic? For the first time, the media didn't come out and call Cho a
"psychotic paranoid schizophrenic", like THEY always did. It was found
that Cho had a past mental health record, but still, THEY didn't call
him a schizophrenic. I tend to think it was the anti-establishment
campaign of us schizophrenics in Alchemy 61 that has taught THEM some
lessons. Also, TV shows like "Criminal Minds" have been leaving us
schizophrenics alone, recently.
There hasn't been much information about Cho's mental health
record. I and everybody I know don't know what Cho's mental health
record was for, or what drugs he was on. We wasted much valuable time
trying to find out. Before, the first thing you heard was "psychotic
paranoid schizophrenic". You didn't have to pay attention; it just
blared out on all radios. If you were walking through a supermarket
you'd hear it bellowing out of the intercom. But, with Cho, after days
of searching and waiting we haven't heard anything meaningful about
Cho's mental health record. It's like we now have a chip on our sholder
from decades of abuse, "Go on, knock it off, I dare you!"; but, it seems
THEY have learnt THEIR lesson. How did we do it? Probably by spreading
THEIR secrets. THEY found THEY can't afford to make enemies. THEY think
we're going to stop? Now, not unless we're financially comfortable for
life. |

Those were interesting links. You obviously know a lot about the subject.
Would you care to speculate as to Cho's case?

| | | Re: "Cho" (Virginia Tech Gunman) How Say You? Paranoid Schizophrenic? This is a good article on it: http://www.alternet.org/story/50758/
and the author points out that he was bullied and harassed and that
that played a role in the events of last Monday.
However, his behavior was odd even before this (e.g. stalking) so
it was probably a combination of things to which the bullying did not
help.
I find his self-characterization of being a martyr as horribly
twisted; martyrs don't kill themselves (and they don't go on shooting
sprees, either). My understanding of a martyr is one that lives in
peace and joy; other's jealousy causes them to harass and bully the
individual and, since that doesn't stop them, they end up killing
them.
As for paranoid schizophrenia, from what I could tell, he didn't
seem to exhibit too much of that behavior outside of the general
persecution complex but, guess what, he was being bullied hence he
should have felt persecuted. But he went the way of the world in
handling that.
It is necessary for draw inspiration, energy, power, etc. from the
Lord Jesus Christ in order to deal with such events in our own lives
("My power is made perfect in weakness..."), whether it be being
taunted or harassed, or if we lost a loved one to someone overcome
with anger toward those that did such things.
From what I understand from his videos (I did not see them, only
transcripts of pieces from it), one of the things he was angry about
was people that harassed him Monday-Saturday and then went to church
the next Sunday. There are lots of people like that, unfortunatly.

My feeling is this guy wasn't 'mentally ill' to begin with. Although
it certainly seems like he got far away from 'consensus reality' in
the end to say the least. A psychiatric diagnosis is elusive but
I think this guy's biggest problem was based largely on his speech
impediment. He didn't need a 'therapist' he needed a *speech
therapist* early on. He was very self-conscious about his speech
problem combined with his accent and was increasingly more and more
angry that people he was smarter than were treating him, all his life,
like a complete dumbass. Apparently he had enough smarts to get into
Virginia Tech and so on. But his problems speaking and expressing
himself I think was key.
The whole presskit he sent to NBC kind of confirms his need for a
'voice'. And of course the fact the the ME-dia likes to pick up and
broadcast these sorts of things to everybody sort of led him along
that path. There have been people like this all throughout history.
Angry loners with little opportunity for expression harboring
resentment. But only comparatively recently that they get on the cover
of all the news magazines and are the top stories of the news, when
they go completely apeshit.
Sad.

Life with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia is better in the UK
Benefits of around £260 p/w and free prescriptions make life easy for us
You lot in the States should get the same, I reckon

It is a delicious prospect for us to really know what is going on with
us or anyone. But it is something we will never taste. It is both
intriguing and maddening, this pursuit. Like trying to to taste our
own tongue, or trying to touch the tip of our finger with that same
finger. We are each trapped within the subjectivity of our own
reality... if we choose to look at it that way. |

I agree. He needed a speech therapist and possibly an understanding
psychologist and expecially a teacher who wouldn't force him to speak and
then let the whole class laugh at him.

| | | Re: "Cho" (Virginia Tech Gunman) How Say You? Paranoid Schizophrenic? That is a good article, thanks for the link. Cho seems to have had social
phobia, but that doesn't mean anything. Lots of people have it and don't go
on a shooting rampage. I'd look at what meds he was taking.
Mainstream will probably use this as even more proof that we have to drug
everybody in America and make Big Pharma even richer! And why not give guns
to all teachers and students so they can all defend themselves?

It would be interesting to know if he had any mercury fillings and if
he ate tunafish.

| | | Re: MERCURY CONNECTION-Re: "Cho" (Virginia Tech Gunman) How Say You... There was a guy who drank four ounces of mercury in an attempt to
commit suicide. He washed it down with a half pint of antifreeze,
ethylene glycol. The ethylene glycol did nothing because he is Native
Ameircan and Native Americans usually lack enzymes to change alcohol
into sugar. These same enzymes change ethylene glycol into oxalic acid,
which destroys the kidneys. Also some Mexicans swallow pure mercury for
their bowels. It tends to go right through you. But theoretically, if it
touched Vitamin B12 it would be transformed into poisonous mercury
chloride. It's certain compounds of mercury that are very dangerous.
This guy knew that if just a little mercury got into the arrising
reticular formation of his medulla oblongata it would be all over. But,
perhaps mercury doesn't pass the blood/brain barrier. He's live and well
and he has no gripe against anyone. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
