If you have experience with cognitive therapy for schiz, please let me know
about your experiences. I'm thinking of buying a book on the subject and
need to know whether it's a wise investment.

I don't like people telling me I have 'thought errors'. That's what
CBT is based on. Who are they to say what I'm thinking is an 'error'
like they know what reality is.
I don't know if it's good for sz, it can be good at keeping depression
away if it's not too bad. I would recommend narrative therapy if you
can get it. CBT is kind of like trying to teach a person with anorexia
good nutrition.

I find it difficult to believe that CBT would help for psychoses but I would
appreciate feedback here if anyone has experience of it. I would have
thought it more apt for neurosis.
