Cold weather makes me depressed.

Default Cold weather makes me depressed.

I don't know how the Canadians manage but I really hate cold weather.
It just makes me unmotivated to do anything. As soon as the weather
warms up I find my energy levels picking up as well. I think one day I
would like to move to where it is sunshine all day everday. The only
problem is I don't have the skin for it being very pale and all. But I
guess with enough sunblock on I would do alright.

Zyprexa makes you get sunburn easily, at least that has been a problem
    for me.

Cold weather makes me a bit lazy...and hold out until the last second before
getting out of a nice warm bed to get ready for work in the mornings....oh
and i eat too much in winter

Denver gets 300 sunny days a year, but it gets cold in the winter, and the
air is thin because of the altitude. It also appears to be a very tolerant
and friendly city when it comes to disabled people. Consider it.

Denver eh? I thought you were living in Canada? Anyway, if I ever go
to the US, the first place I am going is St Louis to look up Gelly.
Then I'll head to Toronto to visit you Woody. I would too if I were a
rich man. But unfortunately I wouldn't even get out of the country
because I can't afford the airfare. But if we stay online friends for
the next 10 or 15 years I might just have enough money saved up to
    visit you all.

I am indeed in Toronto. If you came here, my current living arrangements
wouldn't permit me to give you a place to stay, but I'd be happy to show
around. Don't come yet, tho, because there's a garbage strike right now, in
its sixth week, and the whole city stinks.

    Thanks Woody.

How come the city can have a garbage stike for 6 weeks? Isn't there
legislation against that? I mean I must be a public health hazard by
now. Who would be liable is someone got sick and died from it?

We have a left-wing mayor and city council who were elected on the basis of
the union vote. The union on strike is extremely powerful and can take what
it wants from society. But people are really angry now and I expect
something to be done soon, by the province if not by the city.
