People read so much into the acronym "UFO."
They forget that the "U" stands for "unidentified."
If a UFO ever landed with a greeting, like the ship in the movie "The Day
The Earth Stood Still" it would no longer be a "UFO" -because it would be
clearly identified as an extra-terrestrial spaceship.
