I had a brilliant idea. I took a lesson from my dog. I collected a cup of
my own urine and made a circle of human scent around the memorial. I'll bet
this stops the animal that was eating the flowers.
Such irony. I'm marking my territory with pee around a *dog* memorial.

This morning I was up before my alarm clock beeped. Such occasions would
make my dog quite excited. He was trained to alert me to sounds like that.
When I heard the alarm beeping in the bedroom, I felt a twinge in my gut
because the dog's barking was missing.
Yesterday, I got my 1st MSN IM in several weeks and the chat window had a
picture of my dog as my personal image. I don't think I'll change the
picture. It caught me off-guard for a few moments.
