Default Future, far, far, away?

Somewhere around y2026 NATO went berserk and it was desperate to get
new effective weapon. Following the bio-GRID philosophy I was asked to
hand over the keys of the collective digitalized sub-conscience of the
city. At the times it was digitalized to prevent a coup or for other
scientific reasons.

God have mercy on us!

NATO wanted me to sign a contract and make simulations of better
tissue penetrating ammunition. I knew few things:
1. after we develop it as a city we will no longer be needed.
2. the tissue penetrating ammunition was already too good.
3. I may just play foul and destroy the simulator after the ammunition
is developed, and before the appropriate shield is.

But I decided I won't. Let the Beast take care of its own issues.
City full of NATO digital and analog whore was anough of a concern for
me.

Simply, at present, using collective conscience as a simulator to
develop ammunition was still a crime against humanity. I just passed
by a small innocent girl and I decided she deserves better.

May God be my witness!
