Default Geodon (ziprasidone)

My psychiatrist suggested I could try Geodon
in a few months.

I don't know much about Geodon, the only thing
I know that you have trouble sleeping in the beginning

So I would like to ask users of Geodon to share their
experiences with the drug.

Geodon works very well for me. My only complaints are the twitches and
spasms I get. I grind my teeth, and it gives me anxiety.

I had trouble sleeping the first month on Geodon but after that I got
used to it and slept great.

I also take a low dose of trazedone to help me sleep. Trazedone is an
old type of antidepressant that is mostly used to help people sleep.

I like geodon because I always feel interested in things but it does
give me a little anxiety. I take cogentin or bendadryl with it at
bedtime.

i have been on Geodon for 7 months now and overall i love it. i was on
Abilify before it caused weight gain and something i wasnt even aware of at
the time, it caused me to be unfocused or a bit lupy. on Geodon i feel smart
again and focused. i didnt even realize that the Abilify was causing that
until i was off of it. i am so much happier on Geodon though i do have one
side effect from it, grinding my teeth. it causes my jaws to hurt from time
to time but that is liveable. oh i forget it has messed up my monthly
visitor but i dont really mind that. taking the Geodon is worth the little
discomfort for me, i love the stuff. i have taken Abilify, zyprexa, and
haldol. and Geodon is the best by leaps and bounds at least for me. the main
problem with these drugs is they all work different for different people.
but i would give it a go if i was you. i have no regrets taking it!

Abilify made me restless and unable to sit through a movie or TV show. How
is Geodon different? What does it feel like to be on Geodon? Is your dose
large, medium, or small?
