My nutbar psycho Catholic friend says the following:

1. There is no basis for friendship unless you have common cause in a
political project. Everything else is "just a few childhood reminiscences."

2. I am trying to usurp God's power (euphemism for usurping the Catholic
Church's power).

3. I am not an adult, not a man, bla bla high school girl wienie-siccing
blah.

The guy wants to know what my "intentions" are, which basically means he
wants to trick me into breaking off contact with him so that it lets him off
the hook and he can lie to himself it was my choice. I told him I refuse to
play that game.

Fight his egotistical Catholicism with the bible. Read Matthew, and you
could put him in his humble place. Perhaps point out how a former Pope
supported Hitler, as well. Which in my opinion flies against everything
Jesus said.

Also, isn't it kind of not nice or disloyal to not discuss that with him
himself? Why post it here? He may have different intentions than you
think too. Although from the sound of things he's insulting.

How would you feel if someone posted about a conversation you had on a
public forum like this? To keep and make true friends you need honesty,
and mutual respect.

heard this today....

every day when I was a little boy I prayed to jesus for a new bike...
after a few months of this I finally figured out it doesn't work like that

So I stole one and then asked for forgiveness..

Lol that's funny my friend. And there's a huge grain of truth in it. A
priest told me all I need to do is repent and convert on my deathbed and,
ostensibly, it doesn't matter if I was a serial killer who murdered 200
people.
