Default great quote

"The ball stood still. Time stood still."

- By the announcer of the Switzerland-Turkey match after a waterlogged pitch
slowed a pass to a stop in the goalmouth, just prior to a Swiss tap-in goal.

Man those soccer announcers really know how to spin out their words.

Great first half, lost it's spice a bit later,
even worse I had a small wager on Switzerland.

Oh, zerosky! What did you go and do that for?! Seriously, for a while it
looked like your wager would hold up. But did you notice how many times the
ball stopped dead on the wet pitch in the first half?
