Maybe the meds do make it hard to be joyous, but this was a great week for
me.

Hmmm.
My latest med adjustment seems to work.
My new probiotic seems to work.
My new diet pill seems to work.
I went to 3 movies, using gift coupons from Christmas.
I went to a large amusement park.
I saw a rented video that was inspiring.
An unexpectedly large check arrived in the mail.
My garbage was collected twice by the garbage company. (I had put the cans
out a day early and they picked it up a day early, so I reloaded the cans
and put them out again on the regular garbage day. They picked them up again
on the regular day.)
I attended a social event with friends.
I found a place that took some old CRT computer monitors for recycling
without charging me for it.
My sick dog did not need to be put-down, and is recovering.
I'm in the middle of a good book.
I saw an amazing YouTube video.
I gave someone a birthday gift, and they actually liked it.
I rearranged the lighting of the livingroom and bedroom with great results,
at minimal cost. (Bought two pole lamps at $9.95 each, and four low power
100watt equivalent fluorescent lightbulbs for $10 for a pack of 4.)
I lost about a pound.
I had a pleasant conversation with the next door neighbor. (I only talk to
the neighbor once every few years.)
Something I had been trying to find at a local store was always out of
stock, so I signed up to be called if they got any stock. Two days later
they called and were holding one for me.
I realized that the woman across the street, and the bald guy across the
street, were the same person, with and without a wig! LOL
*****
I usually come here to A.S.S to complain about SZ/SZA, but this week I
decided to post that I had a great week, because it was, and because you
never see that in here.

Glad to hear about your doggie.
The one about the woman and the bald guy being the same person is HILARIOUS!

| | | Re: a great week I bet the Borg assimilated a few Strawberry plants, heh?
Thats what I think.
I spent several hours today with a "diagnosed" friend at a place called
Sayen Gardens. She, (female hot babe), is an artist and she has recently
declared she really is carried when I accompany her and play guitar
while she paints.
Ltely we've been teaming up for her painting expeditions.
In fact....some other "real world" friends have been staying close. I
think they are all expectig the behavioral and emotional problems after
receiving a head injury.
I'm thankful folks have moved up on me.
I'm worried too...
Unexplained anger and a sense of my fraility have already arrived.
I'm not really worried or scared.
I'm a tough cookie.
My dizziness is abating as well but slowly.
Doc said to expect dizziness for a long time. Like months and months....
Apparently the impact allowed some inner cranial bleeding........
He said until the blood is reasorbed I should feel dizzy.
Doc explained why for all the MRI and Cat scan business they did during
my four days hospitalization was to see if they would have to surgically
incur on the sub-dural hematoma.
He talked kinda funny like that, but he explained it meant the black and
blue part inside my skull stopped bleeding so they didn't have to incur
surgically.
Doesn't a "surgical incursion" sound like hell????
"Excuse me Damo, but we've decided to open your skull up and putter
around for a while, Okay? Its called a surgical incursion??"
Anyway today might make day number five within the past six weeks of
sitting in the woods and critiizing my friends' art work during those
moments when I give my guitar a chance to rest for a while.
No strenous exercise for another six weeks they said.
We ain't taking walks anymore....now, after all my encouragement of her
art, she's willng to paint again.
We're not walking anymore...
Personally???
Its because they want me walking on eggs until I recover more
completely.
So do I. I suspect my principal relations have inside knowledge on my
"condition".
I get dizzy spells now...and dizzyness lives right nest to me often, I
can see it waiting.....
Certianly I am recovering, but still I have concerns...........
She's a perfectly nice person to sit in the woods with alone for several
hours, in relative silence too.
Sometimes I read from a paperback.
Pretty nice experiance this "recovery game" can be.
God help the Borg if they ever assimilate Poison Ivy. |

Hi QN
I'm just doing weight watchers at home, I'm not going to any meetings to
weigh in.
I've been to meetings before so I know the routine.
