Default Gustavitory delight and distress

Real Gusto.

During my time of financial recovery and replenishing my stores I
purchased a couple of cornish GameHens.

Crock pot of course.

One of my most prized, and discussed among my fiends behind my back,
kitchen wares is my two quart crock pot.
Its a cute little tiny crock pot.

But stuff that train of thought for now.....

It, the bird carcas, will fit best in my standard regulation sized crock
pot. Thats it.

So then.....
I do not have any bayleaves and it has been taunted to me as a necessity
when making a soup or stew.
Nope. Got none of them at all...

So I was thinking, risking the usual headache when I do that thinking
stuff,
and having carrots and potatoes in my chiller dawer in the fridge, use
them.
Right!?
Good answer!?

Wish I had celery...
I do have some ground up brown celery dust in my spice collection.
And some celery seed.

No lemon juice. Chicken stews do well with a little lemon juice added.

WHAT in the name of Tarnation (?) should I do with this poor helpless
rock hard frozen cornish gameHen carcas?

I want a nice late afternoon meal.

Rice?

Use a watered gravy or a broth?

My kitchen is well stocked.
Name it, I got it, from canned snapper turtle soup to coconut milk to
baby ears of corn. And spices you have never heard the slightest
twinkling of a passing idea concerning their exsistance.
Lottsa spices.

PLEASE HELP with this quandry.
How should I procede?

I have tarregon.

Egg noodles.

Looziana hot sauce.

Advice?

The Sprained Brain Kid his very self.

Ah poop.
No carrots.

I got one but it has white hair growing out of it.
Reminds me of linn, my ex of 27 years who died in May of 03.
Maybe its a sign.
Maybe I should plant it.

Guess I'll use lentils.

Yeah she had white hair, and startling blue eyes.
She was in my dream a while back.
Looks like she's doing well these days.

Lentls it is.

Maybe some brown rice too.

Vegatable bullion cudes?
Think so?

I have some canned spinich that wants to be eaten.

Could just cook it all in a can of chicken noodle soup.

Plenty of room in the full sized crock pot.

Maybe I should plant that carrot, I got the pots and dirt.....
It has white hair.....
Maybe its a sign....

Onions and maybe a green pepper if it hasn't aged too badly.
The onions look good.

I settled with a can of chicken noodle soup, a can of corn (drained) and
lentils plus two small potatoes that either might or might not cook
properly in a crock pot.
Put in maybe three or four cans of water but re-energized it with some
tablespoons of chicken bullion powder.
I went light with the lentils.

Now we wait.
Smoke em if you got em.
Keep your head down.
Wait for my word.

Damned Hen is frozen solid.

And its 2:35 in the pee em.

So I put it on high heat for starters.

Frozen hard as a brick.
Bird can't be the size of a softball.

I put the carrot with white hair on the window sill so it can see
outside.

Corn is for color against the brown lentils.

HAY, how about Monkfish showing up?

SBK.
