Yeah when I had Haldol for about 4 weeks in hospital once, I ended up
writhering about on the floor getting carpet burns on my elbows becuase of
the extreme Akathisia or NMS. The only other time it was that bad was when
increasing a dose of Risperidone depot from 25mg to 37.5mg and taking oral
tablets during the transition. The injection + the extra tablets induced an
effect of Akathisia or NMS similar to when taking Haldol.
