Default Hot Dog Soup

Anybody have a good recipe?
I boile a small sweet potato and a white potato along with some hot dogs
and a table spoon of powdered chicken builion last night and it wasn't
too bad.

Mostly I didn't deal with the broth.
Just scooped out the sweet and whit potatoes and the hot dogs.

Ball park franks, the kind that has some pork in them.
All the flavor in a hot dog comes from the pork.
All beef franks ain't worth a dime.

Maybe try a couple slightly cut up hot dogs, boil some rice in water,
trow in a can of mixed veggies and some more chcken bullion.

NEVER cook a chicken without throwing in a partially pork hot dog.The
flavors help each other.

Hhhhmmmmm....not rice, lentils.
A dash of cumin and a big tablespoon of brown mustard.

I have some horseradish.....

I need some Hot Dog soup today.

My mom's super-easy pan frittata recipe, as modified by me:

1. Put a frying pan on the stove and add some sesame oil, then turn on
medium heat

2. in a couple of minutes, to the oil, add salt, black pepper,
cayenne, plus any other spice you wish. Stir the oil around so the
spices blend with it.

3. While oil is heating raid your crisper for leftover veggies such as
onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, zucchini, whatever. Cut veggies
into small pieces and, once the oil is hot, add to oil and stir. Turn
down heat and let cook. Many of those veggies will release water into
the pan, so it's important to let them simmer until much of the water
is evaporated. Stir veggies once in a while so they don't stick.

4. While veggies are cooking, take your leftover eggs, about 2 or 3
per person who will be eating, and beat them with a little cream,
evaporated milk, or even plain milk.

5. Once veggies are relatively soft, turn heat up a bit on pan and
pour in eggs. As the eggs are setting stir around so that you end up
with a scrambled eggs effect with the veggies in there.

6. Once the eggs are completely set take off heat and serve with a
side of cottage cheese and possibly another side of baked beans. I
like to stir my cottage cheese into the egg mixture in order to cool
it.

Miki

PS: Going to make this dish now.

Yellow Lentil Stew

Sautee a chopped onion in olive oil - add a cupful of orange or yellow
lentils and stir awhile longer.

Add alot of water and cook lentils until almost done - add 3 or 4
pieces of sturdy dried out bread, like a french baguette, and let the
stew simmer until the lentils and bread are both soft. Add some salt
to taste - maybe a little tumeric for color.

Hot dog soup sounds good.

I guess I don't cook anything more than an occasional omelet or mac
and cheese. All this cooking talk is foreign to me. I don't suppose it
is hard, I just never practiced or learned anything about cooking.

Try my pan frittata recipe, Gel. It's super easy and very nourishing.
