Rejecting for lack of safety data would be OK, but rejecting because it is
similar to existing drugs (that are actually quite a bit different from each
other) is dumb.
Given the need to experimentally try various variations on meds to find an
optimal fit, it makes sense to have more options. Also, more choices would
add some competition to the mix. These things are overpriced.
