iloperidone (Fanapta) "Not approvable"

The FDA has really been breaking balls lately.

Somebody forgot to offer the FDA officials future employment.

Rejecting for lack of safety data would be OK, but rejecting because it is
similar to existing drugs (that are actually quite a bit different from each
other) is dumb.

Given the need to experimentally try various variations on meds to find an
optimal fit, it makes sense to have more options. Also, more choices would
add some competition to the mix. These things are overpriced.

Watch it get approved in Europe and it cures schiz.
They slow down cures and speed through drugs that wind up causing law
suits.
The only good the FDA does is keep bugs out of my rice crispies (but I
still get a burnt one now and then)

I found bugs in the bottom an old box of Apple Jacks once, but it was
probably at least 3 years old at a relative's house.
