invega

My pdoc wants to put me on invega. But I think it is just like the old sucky
risperdal! That made me to have no sperm on ejagulations and for every
thought I had there was a comment from someone sometime in the day. That
think sucks! Any comments on the invega stuff?

I think the thing to research would be whether invega promotes prolactin as
risperidone apparently does.

I've been on invega and I hated it more than risperdal. It does raise
prolactin levels too. I know because mine were being tested in the
hospital. I'm back down to taking risperdal consta shots. I don't
mind the raised prolactin because it keeps me from having monthly
cycles.... Invega in my opinion isn't any better than risperdal and I
didn't like the idea of having that plastic pellet in me.

also reports on the internet is that invega does promote prolactin so
it wasn't just me.
