My new pair of sun glasses came in the mail yesterday, along with all
of my art & drawing books. I've been playing with the sunglasses
downtown today, because it was such a beautiful easy going summer day

It is hard to imagine how you could fit mirrors inside of sunglasses

lenses. It is done just right, and the sunglasses are made flat, so
the mirrors catch more of the area behind you.
All it takes is a sleight turn of the head, and you can literally see
everything behind you. You can scan the area behind you with either
the left or right mirror, seeing what everyone is doing. Like most
mirrors however the only flaw is that if you are facing into the
light, and shadows are behind you, the mirror isn't as reflective.
These aren't those spy-glasses sold to kids, these glasses are made
for professional illusionsits like Chris Angel, and they are really
cool. After I went to see the David Copperfield show, my friend came
up with this idea himself, and only a few weeks later I found them

When I was downtown, instead of putting on a show, I just watched

great rear view mirrors when I'm on my bicycle. It actually makes you

their posture. All I did was immediately sit up straight, as they
changed their posture, and I could see in the mirror shades that they
mimed me & straightened theirs up. I saw a couples kissing, when they
thought I couldn't see. I even caught a drug deal going down. These
things are incredible!
The manual explains how to do tons of cool effects, and I don't want
to give anything away. But they are really useful in real life too.
I think they are a really good therapy for autistic children, or
schizophrenics. Because it lets you see just how much bigger the
world is than your own personal domain of influence. I mean as soon
as someone gets out of your site & doesn't think anyone is watching
things start to look completely different.
