Default Jesus has healed me.

I will go to heaven when I die. Im sure some of you may go to heaven to. But
most people in this newsgroup are not focused on Jesus.
Thatīs why most people here will go to hell when their bodies die. Donīt go
to hell, go to heaven instead. There is no way out of hell.
Those who truly believe that Jesus is Gods son will go to heaven. Also you
have to believe in God, otherwise you will go to hell.
In hell there is no love at all. Iīve seen hell, itīs torture. Iīve heard
people scream who are in hell. They scream because of the pain.
If you are evil you will go to hell. Itīs endless pain and torture. Itīs
dark, and you can hardly see.

I will go to the graveyard when I die, then if I can't find my corpse I'll
rez there.
And I've seen hell too, but luckily no one needs to go to Gnomer, yes it's
endless pain and torture, but you can save you and your group by opening a
portal.
Just keep focused on your faith and you will get through to 70.

When I'm in a BG, I try to focus on this human healer, but I never read his
name. Maybe Jesus.

Sure there is ! You can use your heartstone, or the dark portal, to go out
of hellfire peninsula. Or go to Terrokar, or Zangarmarsh. You can be
summoned in another place, or ask a mage for a portal. Lots of way to go
out of hell.

Is it me or are the god-squad targeting this board alot.

I'm confused as to how playing a computer game automatically means I
don't believe in god.

If playing WoW means I go to hell, does it also mean the developers
are actualy satan. I've often though they were.

Funny how supposedly 'good' folk believe in so much evil. Even seem to
revel in it. More curious is how it's not a paradox in their minds...
the delusion runs deep, I suppose.

I wonder if as a species we'll ever rise above superstition, bigotry and
pettiness and make something of ourselves? *sigh*

Now excuse me while I go to hell with my Trapassasin...

Warmest regards,
Jamie Kahn Genet.

I won't be going to heaven, as a warrior I'll be taking my place
alongside Odin in Valahalla

After all, Norse mythology is every bit as credible as any other

Well you need to scare people so they would pray and believe, the more you
scare them with hell the more they will pray for heaven apparently

The popular visage of hell was created by Dante and propagated by the
Catholic church as a way to scare people into attending, and
consequently putting what little money they had in the offering.

I've heard 2 descriptions of hell that seem much more plausible, at
least to me.

The first, is that hell isn't a place of torture but a place of
complete separation from God. This makes sense, as Satan's punishment
was, in fact, separation from God.

The second, was described as 2 giant bowls of soup, with one bowl
being heaven, and the other bowl being hell. Around the rim of each
bowl sat the souls of the people who had died. Every soul had a very
long spoon. At the heaven bowl, instead of trying to feed themselves,
they would use the long spoon to feed someone else, and in turn, they
themselves would be fed by someone else. At the hell bowl, everyone
was trying to feed themselves, but because the spoons were so long and
difficult to use in that manner, the soup all spilled out before they
ever got the end of the spoon to their mouth.

Regardless of either of those 2 depictions, actually seeing hell
yourself, and hearing the screams, can also be explained through
scientific methods. Instead of being shown a vision of what damnation
awaits you, perhaps you have a brain tumor causing you to halucinate.
You may want to have that checked out.

I have fought against hell, and actually beaten it. Many times.

I, of course, refer to the actual meaning of what 'hell' was supposed to be
.... Gehenna.
Not your religious twisted meaning of what hell could possibly be.

Gehenna, when you strip away the religious mumbo-jumbo, was just a rubbish
dump southwest of Jerusalem from around 600BC. Dead bodies were dumped
there, animal and human. These were often burnt in fires that were said to
be always burning due to the sheer amount of debris and bodies.
This gave rise to the concept of 'eternal flames' and references to worms,
and therefore even the fact that unworthy people were not buried, but were
cast into the 'eternal flames' of Gehenna.

Simple really.

Oh - and I actually fought and killed Gehennas many times, which was close
enough for me, given this is a WoW-related newsgroup.

So you believe in a just and upright god, that tortures people for
eternity with no way out. I'm sorry, but that's bogus. You've been
manipulated, as many others have, by entities like the Catholic church.
They have used threats of hell to manipulate the masses. The same group
that doesn't follow a lot of what Yahshua said.

This is where the bible conflicts. One prophet said we are saved by
acts, and another said we are saved by faith alone. You can NOT have
both.

Compare these 2 columns:

Read the related context of those parts of the bible. I think you'll
find the contradictions.

Which God? Do you realize that some people have never been exposed to
Jesus/Yahshua's teachings, yet they are good people?

I believe in a God. I don't believe in all of the bible.

Sheesh. You don't gotta tell me twice. I'm already in hell,
apparently. You church-folk put me there. Because of the illegitimacy
thing? Remember? The whole judge someone based on something they had
no control over? If confused, refer to Deuteronomy 23:2.

I was even placed in a separate section of the nursery, presumably so
I wouldn't contaminate all the legitimate babies. Blonde hair, blue
eyes, 6 pounds, 11 ounces. Damn, I was cute for being Enemy of the
Church #1!

Hey George,

What if faith is an act?
We know some acts are more important than others.
Which act do you think is the greatest?
Some prophets say that faith is, because with faith the rest follows.

Remember it's not just the law nor just the prophets. It's the law AND
the prophets.

Have a nice weekend.

(PS) i din't read the acticle.

And the people give their money to you, they let you tell them what to
do, how to think, Where to go. Basically the religious leader rules by
fear. It works for them.

Oddly enough, warlocks rule through fear as well. Is it coincidental
that warlocks, the most evil, hated class in WoW, and the church rule
through the same methods?

No, you won't. One of the the things that your God sees as a mortal sin is
hubris. Claiming to know his mind, let alone what your place in the
afterlife might be, pretty much guarantees that you will not get the reward
you're so sure of.

Read the book you're prostletyzing about. If you believe in it, you're

Default Re: Jesus has healed me.

Our Pastor told us that if we have been "reborn" our "spirit" is
saved, but there has to be a union of the soul with the spirit. The
Pastor defines the soul as the mind, will, and emotions.
Before I became a Christian, I remember that on the Tree of Life,
of the Sephiroth. this would correspond to the 8th sephira, Hod,
corresponding to the mind, and, the 7th sephira, Netzach, corresponding
to the emotions. But, the will? Perhaps the soulish will corresponds to
the 9th sephira, Yesod, but, the true will has always corresponded to
the 2nd sephiroth, Chokmah.
Anyway, high spirit was considered to be the first three
sephiroth, beyond the "Abyss". Between the fourth sephira, Chesed, and
the third sephira, Binah, there is a psudo-sephira, Daath (Knowledge),
in the Abyss. To attain to the three higher sephiroth one had to lose
one's mind in the Abyss.
Seventh Day Adventists, the Jehova's Witnesses, and a growing
number of Christians believe that the damned become nonexistent in Hell.
If you are nonexistent you don't hurt. There's no you to feel hurt.
That's good enough for me.
That Sephiroth stuff sounds Jewish, but, I was never a Jew. I was
brought up an atheist and later got interested in the occult, New Age
kaballah, and "the other things too", searching for answers.
Recently, I talked to some Jehova's Witnesses who came to the
door. I asked, "You guys think if we go to Hell we will be made
nonexistent there, right? They said, "YES". We agreed that the
infliction of eternal torment is infinite injustice. God is not unjust.
Is He?
And, I wanting nonexistence, why should I attend Jehova's
witnesses services and contribute to the Jehova's Witnesses, or the
Seventh Day Adventists, for that matter?
I have long wondered, do the Jews also believe that you are made
nonexistent in Hell?
Of course, we can all experence Hell in perinatal matrix III, see
http://www.holotropic.com
I've been there, and many of my fellow members of Alchemy61 have
been there.
But, I remember before I was born. I had been a cruel leader of a
small tribe of nomads in Central Asia. I died from a sword stab through
the liver, went into undrground caverns where a red dragon with a
humanish face gave me tough basic training for about two weeks,
But, after that it was the greatest pleasure I ever had in my existence.
We were all had fire bodies and us couples male and females perpetually
tore each other apart, scratching an incredible itch, and tried to eat
each other up. I may have eventually cancelled out, but, a bluish fairie
thing pulled me out of the fire and forced my birth. I fought it to go
back to my pleasurable fiery orgie, but I couldn't get back.
I attain a "mahasamadhi", union with the universe, and a taste of
nonexistence, from women, and and instant of such by meditating upon the
Lost Word. If that fulfillment were eternal, I would "gain the world and
lose my soul". Good enough for me.

Like that will ever happen... These people are delusional and
irrational. They are the waste of society - bringing us all down.

I was gonna ask if you are serious then thought about. People in
power (real or perseaved) make some serious screwed (not my first
choice of words) up rules. With religion's past and present I can see
this happening without a doubt.

I've been to hell. I saw your mom, she has a seat picked out for you.

"Judge not, least you be judged"

Or did they elide that line in your early reader edition of the Bible?

Sanctimonious fucker.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics shows that everything is trying
to run down. That which isn't running down is being wound up by that
which is running down.
In this way, a little taste of nonexistence is the essence of
every pleasure. Therefore, to attain nonexistence permanently will be to
attain the satisfaction of all desires, pure pleasure, eternally.
Unfortunately, by Murphy's Law, there are orthogonal mechanisms
which cause "running downs" to cause "winding ups", and punishments for
approahing ways out, called negative feedback mechanisms.
For example, nonliving matter shuns heat and seeks cold, yet, we
are punished by negative feedback mechanisms for getting cold; cold,
which would eventually relieve us of consciousness.
If you think existence is preferable, you are being blocked by
negative feedback mechanisms. Fear of unpleasantness after death is a
negative feedback mechanism. Saying that a second death is any
consciousness, which is life, is a negative feedback mechanism.
But, there are scary unknowns, negative feedback mechanisms.

My birth mother, with whom I was reunited in my 20s, told me this.
There were several other girls from her maternity home (let's call it
"Acme") in the hospital at the same time as her who'd also had babies.
All the maternity home babies were kept in a separate section of the
nursery, and all of us had "Acme Home baby -KEEP IN" signs placed on
our basinets. Probably so that the nurses didn't take the babies to
see their mothers (I suppose further bonding might happen) since we
were all heading off to the Adoption Machine.

My BM told me something interesting. She said all the girls at the
home would shuffle off to breakfast in the morning, then go off to the
Smoking Room to have their after-breakfast cigarette. I boggled when I
first heard that. Fast forward 30 years. It's OK to have an out-of-
wedlock baby (as it should be), but as a pregnant woman you sure
wouldn't want anyone to see you smoking a cigarette!

Third version I heard HELL is depression and HEAVEN is mania
and we're born in any of ten worlds from moment to moment.

Seems like that's where I'm at.

You probably only saw Baltimore from I-95... it's much WORSE if you
take Pratt St. and then head up Charles St to North Avenue and then
take Route 1 up to the beltway and back to 95.

My how times have changed. Some for the better. <hum> It might be why
people live longer these days.

Growing tobacco should be illegal. Farmers can grow something else.

<potential Flame side stepped>

The reason life expectancy appears to be up, is because infant mortality
is down, huge statistical skew. We are in fact living 8-10 years shorter.

You seem prone to state propaganda, study statistics and combine
alternative media with mainstream stuff, and don't be fooled into
thinking the majority is always right. It is possible to lead an entire
flock off a cliff, I saw this happen when I was in Silverdale Lanchishire.
