I saw that and I think he underestimates the human heart. There's a lot
more going on in physical reality than science can account for. but his
point is well made--it's our brains that are the seats of our identity.

It didn't seem like new information to me and I'm a Christian.
Hmmmm...no still don't get it. |

Belief determines the future law of attraction.
Christians wan't end of the world, they're dangerous.

I am a strong believer in Physicalism, but that is not an argument
against humanity. You may believe in non existent things, but I
don't. Obviously, emotions and personality are constructs of the
brain, our beings are a result of these physical processes. that does
not discount the existence of deep and meaningful forces within us
though.
Not a big fan of religion, and not a big fan of proclaimed
"atheists". Atheism is a non belief, therefore, a need to identify as
such seems to me a contradiction. Would i consider a squrriel to be
an atheist? The problem with atheists is that they believe in
something, the non existence of god. If you truly don't believe in
something, why spend your time on the question of its existence? |

I cannot believe a schizophrenic could come out with this.
Despite the evidence of your perceptions you fail to comprehend
the importance of mind.
You will have had unusual coincidences in your life we all do
yet either you have blocked them out of your memory or used pseudo-science
to argue them away.
You think it is a place of light in your shell, yet you are too
cowardly to look into the darkness around it.
You are no scientist.

| | | Re: My brother Youtube video I'm not sure if this is true, but I once heard that the gastrointestinal
tract has as many neurons around it as are in the brain. The links from
neurons around the body are not like the corpus callosum that links the two
halves of the brain, so we are not too conscious of what goes on down there.
However, if you are saying that you speak from your gut, I don't have a
problem with that, from a scientific standpoint.
I wonder what schizophrenia in the neurons of the digestive tract does to
nutrition?
