Default My old computer

Got wiped out by, supposedly, the Sasser virus.

When I took it in to the computer shop, that's what they told me
happened, and I would need to re-install Windows.

It was a very old, used computer.

I ended up just getting a new, used computer that is much better, with
the help of a friend.

I was only gone/offline for a couple of days.

Last time I had no computer, I was without one for about a year I
think.

It is nice to have friends who will help you out with real things.

It sucks to have a whole computer wiped out because of one lousy
virus.

Pentium 4, 1.99 GHz, 512 RAM.

Pretty OK for a cheap used computer. Better than my old one.

Thanks go to George on this one.

As long as you're not trying to stick with new pc games, that computer
should keep you going for a long time to come.
Ofcourse you may want a blueray player in the near future...

lololol...i remember the old BBS days with my 486 DX50 mhz 4 meg of ram and
a whopping 212 meg hard drive in which at the time i thought i would never
fill...lol ...and a whopping 1 meg video card...i used to love an online
game my sysop joined up for us..and that was Barren realms elite ( i think
thats what it was called)..you would register (for Free) and start your own
planet in which you would build up the population ...build up farms for food
and mining for minerals for sale to other planets you decided to have
alliances with and and army to fight and pillage other planents with....plus
other things like spies to spy on planet you planned to attack ...nothing
like seeing the carnage u could do if you built up a big army and attacking
other players some where else in the world ahh the memories..lol

I remember the old Commodore BBSs too. Those were days when the world was
young and hope abounded. My how low I have sunk since then.
