my parents and brother are being obdurate

They want to know whether I have "been cleared by a doctor to return to
work" and refuse to accept that things don't work that way. They are so sure
of themselves in their misunderstandings that I can't expect any help from
them at all, not even moral support. If you've read my two posts on
Employment Supports you'll understand what I mean. It hurts like fuck to be
alone again.

Well, you can do it anyway and maybe they will eventually come around.
