| | | NEGATIVE SENSORY INPUTS Repetitive annoying commercials, spammers, the MI5 poster, a week of
the Reagan funeral, two weeks of the Pope's death, three months of how
the godfather of child molesters should receive sainthood. Then for
icing in the cake, we get Bush's state of the union speech!
A percussion of negative sensory inputs (taste, touch, smell, sight,
audio, and emotional), will lead to mental and physical
deterioration. It will throw your whole being "out of whack". People
believe that only a major catastrophe can cause these problems. Or a
long stress periods (combat fatigue).
But the millions of every day tiny ones are the worst. They go
unnoticed, and add up fast. Suddenly, it can snowball into a
nightmare. And is called "mental illness".
That horrible phrase that makes people turn away. What a farse.
Mental illness is not insanity. It's just a more severe case of what
everybody else has. George Bush is the definition of insanity.
Repeating the same mistakes over, and over. Finally, people are
starting to catch on, and turn away from him. And people like him.
Maybe, the stigma of mental illness will fade away. To be replaced by
a common understanding of what it really is. |

If it all comes down to overload and it can be treated successfully
based on that, I would be thrilled. |

George W Bush is a fucking ass licker.
When I was in the loony bin I thought I could convince everyone that
he was the second coming of Christ so that people would crucify him on
a game show.
I thought I was the anti christ.
It is definitely the small suckful things that add up into the
nightmare. |

The treatment is simple, yet almost impossible to obtain. Here's an
example:
Have you ever stumbled across an exciting activity, that captivated
you for a while. Entrenched in positive stimuli, even if for only a
few minutes, will make symptoms disappear. You have to think back to
notice that.....Hey for a while I wasn't depressed, seeing things, or
hearing voices. I felt good!
Or fell into an fulfilling encounter. A really cool conversation with
a stranger (if only brief), that left you with a good feeling as you
walked away.
Only to get splashed by a car driving through a puddle in the street.
Boom, you forgot all about the few moments you had without any
symptoms. |

I respectfully disagree. Some people go through horrors in life and just
naturally come out as balanced normalos. Other people have everything
wonderful until someone sneezes on them and they spend rest of their life in
the loony bin.
In my opinion, most mental illness is physiologically based. The problem is
the experts do not yet understand how normal brains work. Thus, they can
only pretend to advise how to deal with abnormal brains. This may change in
about 20 years. Unfortunately, I'll be damn old by then. |

I believe both to be true. The cycles of positivity/negativity are
probably backed up physiologically in our brains, no?
Ruts and grooves, easily fallen back into. |

Exactly. Stimulus-response is another way to describe it. Your
response here helps get a better overall picture of what I was trying
