My friend's dad used to be a sports reporter for the Star Ledger. I
grew up in NJ.

I couldn't read the article, too blurry on webtv.

Well...In the next few months we should be finding out if it is FDA
approved or not for use in the US. It seems to have better cognitive
and emotional effects than regular atypicals. I think the side effects
are supposed to be better too. I'm hoping it gets approved. I'm
anxious to try it.

I stay with sugar or nutrisweet myself.

The other stuff grows brain tumors.

Respectfully disagree.

The article might dash hopes for a new huge improvement over existing drugs.
However, one thing I've learned on this group is that each person needs
their own custom tailored mix of meds to optimize things. This would add
one more drug to the list for everyone to try in comparison to everything
else. For some percentage, the new med may be just what they want.

True enough.
I spoke with a doc from Millenium (one of those, try meds and get paid
companies) today that I couldn't get in the asenapine trial as I take
too much zyprexa. It's for those taking 10mg or less. Makes me
wonder how well this med is doing out there.
If it gets FDA approval, I'll be in the front of the line.
