Writing in terms of baud and "old school" modems.
NO, you are not insane, or mentally unwell. It's just that there are those
out there with the immediate concern for your overal health. Unfortunatly
they use such a broad spectrum of terminology, it's hard to understand and
quite insultive!
It's not meant to get a person to change their perspective and outlook from
within themselves so as to give a different overall change in personality to
another person.
Ya know, it's not a key that unlocks emotional freedom.
Always has been and always will be a means to start a fight aka war.
With that said,
Every loophole, every hack, every new technology, every "in the works"
technology, is just that, a new creation of idealism.
I refer to, well, how do I say, way back in Windows 98 time, when 56K was
the latest and greatest speed for modems, ISDN being a rarely non widely
used public means of internet speed, long before internet telephony (such as
Skype) was known to exist, there were those elitists with appropriate levels
of authority that could listen and comment via a "turned off" PC/Mac,
electrical cord plugged in,via the telephone line into the modem!
However my old PC managed to run with the electrical cord unplugged from the
wall whilst I was using the PC in the Windows environment, although plugged
into a battery powered back up for well over an hour of use, is anyones
guess.
Word to the wise, don't be thinking you rule the entire area just because
you pressed one key on the keyboard and the entire areas power went out!
Been there, done that.
