Medicare payment, because they want more money.

Is this true in other parts of the US?

Its like that here too in the backwoods of NE Pennsylvania. Same goes
for when I lived in NYC. All the shrinks I get seem to be worth shit.
All I want is one that actually listens and doesn't mess up scripts.

My psychiatrist works for Kaiser Northern California and says that the
schizophrenics she sees are almost all working and have medical insurance
as a benefit. I haven't applied for SSI yet and I've got a private pay
insurance I got long before I started down the road to Risperdal. She said
the severe cases all have SSI and are seen at the county (downtown San
Jose.)
