Default phoned the pharmacist

My HMO changed back to Kaiser on 1-1-2008. I phoned their mail-order
pharmacy to ask about the generic status of Risperdal/risperidone. The
pharmacist explained that the pediatric extension of the patent (from
12/2007 to 6/2008) extends the patent for adults too. So, I have to wait
another 6 months for generics in the US.

I still have refills available on my Canadian mail-order risperidone, so it
ain't so bad.

I'm so excited to be back at Kaiser. I tried two regular commercial HMOs
last year and they both sucked. I already have appointments scheduled with
both my old primary care doctor and my old psychiatrist. The primary care
doctor has to refer me to get my cool urologist back again.

Has anyone tried the new iloperidone stuff yet? I've got about $2500 in
Medicare part D money burning a hole in my pocket.

I had cravings for marble fudge ice cream and Oreos today. Fortunately,
there is none in the house.

I might be remembering it wrong. Erik the Red gave info about approval of
it some weeks ago. It tests out just like geodon except it does not have
akathesia side effects.

It is on the FDA desk for approval. I don't think it passed yet -
