Yeah, I've been there. It's absolutely amazing and fantastic until
they stick you in hospital and then you start to go "normal" again and
you are trapped there for however long.... Actually being manic while
in hospital is rather fun until then.

Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/alchemy61/ and go to messages,
and put [ 1 ] in the search slot for the message numbers, or you may
just put [ lahunken ] in the bigger search slot for all the messages
of lahunken. This should do it.

Why is it you stupid frickin religious idiots can't see the reality.
god is not real, only a figment of your imagination. Maybe if you
invested more of your beliefs in yourself you could get more out of life
instead of "praying" for something to happen, how about "making"
something happen instead?

I hate religion and the religious.

I believe I have been manic a few times but my pdocs so far have not
believed me since they did not see it for themselves.

It was fun.

Until I spent all my money and did some outrageously stupid things and
had to deal with the consequences.

Also the staying awake for 5 days while trying to take college classes
was not fun either.

I scared some of my instructors in college, because I appeared
obviously sick.

I blew through all my inheritance money thinking I would have my own
business. I mostly bought stuff and never sold it on eBay. Then the
stuff went into storage, and then I lost my storage space and the
stuff is all gone.

I started running and lost so much weight so fast I got gall stones,
had to have an operation...

But it was fun at times...

Maybe someday there will be a medication that does not take away the
good parts of the high...

I would love for you to explain what exactly is the reality as I am
really interested
to finally hear from someone who knows the absolute "truth" about
everything.

Having an absolute belief that there definitely is no god and
attacking people
who believe otherwise means you are displaying the exact kind of
behaviour
you apperently hate.

And as for "making" things happen, good in theory, but not always
possible.

I hate religion at times too. As a teenager and for some time I thought
I was an atheist. I actually found more belief in God and order to the
universe after reading a rather shallow book about Atheism.

The fact is that I and others seek a dimension of depth, a source for
insight, and knowledge greater than we know, help, guidance, and more
than exists in this dimension.

Judaism has faults. The Torah contradicts Jeremiah. No one can seem to
explain why. But I believe in parts of the Torah and definitely
Jeremiah. There is truth and wisdom in some of it. Moreover I believe
in an Creator, or God if you will.

Christianity has faults, but I have learned to agree with many things
that Jesus had to say, through experience. The Catholic church has used
their power to manipulate people for a long time. The Catholic church
has also murdered the Knights Templars. I don't hate the church though.
I think they are misguided, and misleading people quite often, but I
don't hate them. It does us no good to hate the Catholic church for
murdering ancestors, or having hatred against the Pope for supporting
Adolf Hitler.

Eventually I hope that the followers of Islam will come to see their
religion as flawed too. To me the repression of women, and the ideals
the followers of Islam project are not good.

Before 1999 I was very antireligious. Back in the Seventies I was
a commercial artist and writer for Madalyn Murray O'Hair, the famous
Atheist. I greeted Madalyn at Boston's Logan Airport with a good old
Atheist hug. It just happens that other tradidions have the same
identical hug under other names: the Spiritualst hug, the Pentecostal
hug, etc., etc.
But, click at the bottom here into "The Secrets of the Universe"
for proofs of God's existence. I have come upon even stronger proof
since I discovered that one down below here.
My parents were materialistic atheists. I was an atheist until I
was 54 years old in 1999. And, I hated religion with a passion for
mixing with state in Massachuetts and suppressing sex. I escaped into
the Army at 17 because I feared that one of my past girls or their
families would rat on me for "fornicaton" which was a felony in
Massachusetts in 1962.
And later, with the unpopular tag of schizophrenia on me,
prostitutes were my relief, and prostitution is still illegal in
Massachusetts, yet Massachusetts today self admits to being a Sodomite
state. It should be destroyed like Sodom was. And, I'd be willing to be
blasted with it just to have it blasted by God. I hated religion for
this governmental control.
Under my name in the Google search engine there is some poetry I
wrote in 1996 from Groveland, California against theocratic tyranny. On
that page I also had a proof against God which turns out to contribute
to the proof of God's existence. I have tried and tried to get rid of
that erroneous page in Google, but I haven't been able to get rid of it.
It's giving me a bad reputation which would prevent conventional
employment and other things.
Since I wrote the proofs down here I have come upon more proofs of
God's existence.
Do you believe that light exists? Well, 1John1:5 says "God is
light". Knowing that all energy transfers within atoms are photon
(light) exchanges, we know that light is energy and that energy is
infinite and eternal, E=Mc˛. Infinity and its infinite probability can
certainly confer consciousness on light. And there was never a day when
it started. It always was. Look how probability has
arranged consciousness for us so easily. It's actually the probability
that God would give us consciousness. The next time you see light or
feel energy, know that it is God, and it, He, even knows what you are
thinking.
The First Law of Thermodynamics is actually stating the eternity
of God. In general systems dynamics, information is the conformation
energy. We are information. We were created. The Second Law of
Thermdynamics reveals that information can be created.
I don't like Plato's immortality of the "soul". He had absolutely
no proof. Plato really messed up the human race. He was an elitiest who
believed that certain people were born deserving no rights whatsoever
over the period of a whole lifetime, never have any rights. And he
established the falacious dichotomy that said that schizophrenia wasn't
"physical". He was our enemy, and his philosophy is our enemy.
The Second Law of Thermodynamics gives us some hope of attaining
nonexistence. I'd settle for nonexistence.

Here you go. Here's the page from 1996, when I was an atheist,
that I can't get rid of: http://www.poetry.com/poets/MichaelPereira.html
I can't even get access to all my other poetry in Poets.com now, for
some reason, but look at how easy it was to get at this page. And, with
my picture on it.
After you put Michael A. Pereira in Google's search slot, you will
find this site on Page 2. The site accessable on the bottom of the
page here takes this incomplete information and proves the existnce of
God on top of it. Just click on it down here.

All right rabbi, how's this: I'd sooner believe that there are beings
from another world landing, watching and visiting use BEFORE I would
believe that there is some "all knowing" being who is the creator of us.

Also, why not add this to your thinking: Say over the next couple of
years, we master the technology of cloning, but add the ability to
select certain things that we want in our clones (say humans) and
introduce them. But to make us feel even more superior we make it so
DOGS can speak language. Then, as our planet is about to die, we shoot
a missile of into space to a remote planet capable of sustaining life.
As the probe travels for years it ultimately arrives, crashes on the
planet and the cloning begins. Millions of years later, we show up in
that current form and check on our "experiment." Are we seen as "gods"
or are we seen as aliens?

I can feel touch and know my reality, god requires you to fantasize.
There is no fantasy in reality (PERIOD)

ALL RELIGION IS FLAWED.

I can accept that some people (especially the week and less intelligent)
require a book to tell them what they can do and what they can't... but
many of these things have been proven to be invalid over time (anyone
eat pork? How about all those RICH televangelist?)

My personal feeling is if you want to be religious, fine, but keep it to
yourself AND ABOVE ALL, pay your taxes!

I'm sick and tired of paying my property taxes on a parcel of land that
is 1 1/2 lots big and there are 3 churches near where I live that have
the equal of 10 times the size of my property and they don't pay one red
cent... I am all for separation of church and state, BUT that doesn't
mean that they shouldn't pay taxes!

Bottom line, people who come on here and profess they are praying and in
need of "god's" help, don't need to be here getting peer help because
all they really need it to pray harder and pay more tithes to the
church, then they will get better... Go jack off and cum in one hand,
and pray for a cure in the other and see which hand fills up faster! It
won't be the hand without creamy stuff in it.

Religion is a scam!

Did you see mpereira's picture? Can anybody else get their picture
in here? And he's got the guts. And he's only on page 2 of his name's
Google record. I checked it out. I don't know how to get my picture in
here without the proper equipment, never mind Google.
And, I have been trying to look up the names of enemies, and you
can go through 30 pages and not find any one of them.
This friend of our's sticks out like a sore thumb. And people
Google people these days. Mike, did it ever get you in trouble? That's
what revolutions are made of.
Now, with the enemies that are stalking my friends and I, not that
I hold grudges against "enemies", but, these enemies are being used
against us by our oppressors NOW. They are in the front lines with their
names known, yet, their names are common enough so that there are
countless thousands with the same name.
Where can I find more information about those who deserve it,
without having to pay for internet detective services?

I think I have to agree with you on this one mr Gumshoe.
There is no effidence that there is a god or ever was one.
However praying doesn't hurt and I sometimes pray
and I feel kinda good if everyting turn out alright.
So I am not an atheist and also not a very religious man.
In my psychosis God played no role whatsoever.
