quitting smoking

i am trying to quit smoking mainly cause my mormon parents are
bitchen. life really is down right now, in thepits. idk what to do.
i dont know how i will ever make it through life now.

I've had success arguing to my psychotherapist that quitting smoking
would be too stressful for me right now. If you got a note from your
doc to that effect, would it help? Or maybe you could offer to smoke
out of doors, or on the porch or back porch, or in one specific
ventilated room. Try reasoning with them. I know exactly what you're
going through because I'd go through the same thing if my folks went
on an anti-smoking kick.
