Googly Woogly Boo?
That reminds me of
Bippity Boppity Boo.
Hi Gelly.
Is it a nylon string guitar?
Lots of folks don't have the interest in developing the callouses
required for playing a steel string guitar.
If you were going to play for an hour even you'd have sore finger tips.
I keep y fingernails cropped all the way down on my left hand.
On my right hand I let go over a little bit so I can scratch the srings
with them.
Many electric guitars have very fast "action' and can be gentle on the
fingers...sometimes.
If you're going to be using a steel striig acoutic guitar I recommend
you use extra light strigs.
At first.
I had a problem with my treble strings slapping the fret board. So I'm
likely going back to simply Light Strings.
I replaced my high E, the skinniest string with an 11 guage, thats up
from a ten that goes with a pack of extra light strings.
Regular light strings, you buy them in pack, is a 12 guage. I'm strickly
talking steel acoustic strings.
Metal strings.
Dfferent brands and types of metal string alloys too.
You don't need to know this suff, correct?
If you tell me the three chords you learned, I'll tell you some useful
chords in the same key.. Knowing affiliaed chords will help you write.
Most folks pick up a guitar and learn a "C" and a "F" and a "G7th".
The relations ship among those chords causes a I - 4 -5 progression..
That is
The first note of a key, the forth note of the key and finally, the
fifth note of the key
C , F , G are likely all you need to play anyhing but they want help.
In the same key you can use the A minor chord.
In fact, simpy by repeating C to Am to F to G7th you are playng the
chords to "BLUE MOON" And that everly brothers' song, "Dream dream
Dream". Many more songs as well.
Many songs can be played with each progression. Basically, there's only
so many popularized preogresions.
So if those three notes are a 1, 4, 5
and those "notes" are realy Chords....
Good.
A , D , E7th are also 1-4-5.
Key of A
G , C , D7th are the same thing but in the key of G
Tell me the three chords and I'll tel you what chords would be most
useful to learn next..
Plus...more things to feed your interet.
I'm asuming you don't know music theory.
Thats no issiue.
