X-No-Archive: Yes

It would be better if you kept the "X-No-Archive: Yes" at the top of reposts
that of posts originally included it, please.

I had forgotten some of my ideas from back then. My credit card problems
are history. In fact, they keep raising my credit limits. In a way, it is
scary that just one of my VISA cards has a $17,500 limit.

I didn't tell my friends. Hell, most of them are far better off finacially
than me, anyway. They don't tell me their finances.

I'm still keeping my spending within my Social Security budget. This is
easier, now that I'm not paying credit cards 25%. Also, all the new money
(left after the bills were paid off) is off at my stock broker. It would
take about 2 weeks to access it.

Day trading in the stock market is fun, but discipline that protects the
core of one's holdings also limits potential profit.

If I were young, I might try some kind of education spending, but it is hard
to learn new things now.

I think my original post was assumed by some to be delusion. However,
RoidsRim has put two and two together.

Now that I have the money to play online poker, they have gone and made
funding of it illegal.

I watch my spending. I'm allowing myself any used books I want. Also, a 20
year old stereo, that was a gift, has been repaired. It has great
sentimental value. Otherwise, paying to fix a 20 year old stereo would be
nuts. It works great now. I have a new cellphone. It was free with my
tranfer to a better cellular provider. My old cell service had coverage
problems. I cancelled my "lifeline" rate on my home phone. I just wanted
to be honest with them....

Hmmm. I think your handle is nasty.

Of all the millions of SZ/SZA out there, we here are, indeed, the elite.
1337

I now understand that you do not understand what you are or I am doing.

I keep track of this group because it can be the leading edge for new, but
often disappointing, info.

Did you know, that about 30 years ago, they discovered that 10% of scheezers
were improved by dialysis? I'm not sure if they had any controls in place.
That is to say, I don't know if the experiment had a good control group to
identify any placebo effect.

I considered using the word "challenged" instead of "crazy," but it seemed
too lame.

Hello QN

Successful treatment of sz by kidney dialysis was detailed in the book
"Welcome Silence: My Triumph over Schizophrenia" by Carol North

Maybe you've read it before or heard of it. I thought it was really
interesting.

A true story, Carol North became a psychiatrist after her sz was
treated by a few dialysis treatments.

I would be willing to try kidney dialysis a few times instead of taking
these medications for years and years.

I had a friend, now deceased, who needed dialysis. He was brave about it,
but it was clear to me that he went through hell in the process.

I had not heard of the book. Thank you.

Oops, forgot "X-No-Archive: Yes" last time. Nothing of concern here,
anyway.

I found a copy for 81 cents plus shipping.
