Good evenin'
I figured my protein was too low today, so I made a shake with protein
powder and a jumbo raw egg. Tasted good, but the slimy part of the egg
makes me think twice about what I am doing.
Now, I just need some music from "Rocky." |

Fat and weak
What a disgrace
Guess the Champ got too lazy
Ain't gonna fly now he's just taking up space
So his [something] threw his gloves down the drain
But he's no slouch
He's got a job
works at the neighbourhood deli
Back on his feet
Now he's hacking up meat
All the while you can still hear him say
"Try the rye or the kaiser
or the wheat or the white
If you want you can have an appetizer
Stay away from the tuna
It smells funny tonight
But you really cannot go wrong with the rye
or the kaiser"

Very nice, Miki. You should quit killing your brain cells with all
that rye and maybe write some more.
Was that Jewish rye? Not the drink, the bread. Unfortunately they
don't have that at Subway, it doesn't sell enough.
The Catcher in the Rye is a very good book.

I was quoting verses from _Theme from Rocky XV_ (Rocky sequel #15) by
Weird Al Yankovic. He's a humorist musician who writes parodies of
popular music. In this case he was parodying _The Eye of the Tiger_,
which is the theme music from one of the Rocky movies.
Kosher bread is good bread. Mind you, I prefer Wasa and Ryvita
crispbread these days. That's also something they don't have at
Subway, at least up here.

Oh. Well, now that will be going through my head every time I have to
make a tuna sandwich at work or ask what kind of bread the customer
wants.
Still stands that you should quit killing your brain cells with
drinking. I know I've got to be really careful with drinking myself.

I've stretched a 20 of Wiser's Old Canadian Whisky for about a week
now and have only about 3/4 finished it. In that time I've also had
two beers. That's not a huge amount of drinking for most people, and
I'm back to 200 lbs again. Now, if I were drinking a 20 of whisky a
*day* then there would be cause for concern.
The more likely mental effect is that I quit Zoloft cold-turkey on
January 7th, but even the effect of that is debatable.
