I was feeling pretty great when I was running 5 miles at least per
day. I was still lonely as hell, and totally delusional at that point,
but I felt and looked Great! I was wearing size 6 jeans! I felt
fantastic!
When I exercise I feel noticeably healthier and more energetic. I also
sleep better. When I eat spinach and broccoli salads I feel much
healthier as well. The best part of eating healthy and exercising is
that it helps my brain concentrate and makes my thoughts feel more
organized. I work out really hard though. I have to get that "runners
high" where I feel really euphoric. It completely erases any feelings
of stress and helps me relax. I think it helps stabilize my dopamine
in a more natural way as well. I would say that exercising and eating
healthy is just as important as taking my meds. If I take my meds but
I eat junk food and don't exercise, I have to take a higher dose and
take them more often, and I still don't feel as stable as when I go
running.
I highly recommend exercising and eating healthy to anyone and
everyone out there. You may feel sad giving up the foods you love, but
you will feel much better in the long run and will be happier. I can
guarantee it.
