Default a sense of foreboding

My hope for the future is higher than it has been in about 10 years,
since I *started* the old job I no longer have. It only makes me
wonder how my hopes will be dashed this time, and how unbearably it's
going to hurt.

I have had about thirty odd jobs since leavnig high school eighteen
years ago. I know, touch wood, what it feels like somewhat. Have you
thought of working for yourself. This is just suggestion. For example,
put an advertisements around for a business you might like to do [I do
house cleaning]. As long as you have an advertisement for people to
look at you may hopefully get back to work without the 'boss man/
woman' intimidating some how.
If you feel that this will not work then, know that a lot of other
people that do not have schizophrenia, also start and finish jobs all
the time. A well known comedian, I forget his name, was on TV
recently, and said that he has had thirty odd jobs since now being a
successful comedian. Hope this elleviates some of your pain....Brookus.

Hi Miki

Here's how I see it panning out.....

All your hopes and dreams will be crushed, as they always have been,
beneath that great iron boot of reality.

Still chin up....

Sterne talked about 'iron in the soul' that arises from hope deferred

Fair point, but not sure that the attribute of hope is a crime.

When a Scientist is faced with experimental evidence that seems to oppose
his initial belief he will invoke 'Cromwell's Rule' Derived from a letter
sent by Oliver Cromwell to the general assembly of the Church of
Scotland.....

" I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible you may be
mistaken"

We are in a place where the unfairly demonized may find some acceptance from
each other. Thus, my attitude toward Miki appears hypocritical and shallow.

However, I call things as I see them. I began to distance myself from the
interesting technical guru Miki, when I read about his revelation about the
16 year old girl. Miki didn't say he screwed up, or was impaired. Miki
insisted that his actions had been correct.

Later, Miki openly fantasized about knifing a pregnant woman.

While most reject or have trouble accepting labels like schizophrenia, Miki
wears his Aspergers like a badge of honor. (I had to look up Aspergers.)

Most importantly, of those very very rare profoundly disturbing criminals
who happened to be psychotic, many have said things before their crimes,
that warned the people they knew. Later, the media makes a spectacle about
all the people who knew about the frightening words, and did nothing.

Speaking colorfully:
I may not have stopped the Titanic, but I was yelling "Iceberg Ahead" to
everyone. It was the least I could do.
