Default some advice needed

The doctor who diagnosed me as schizophrenic back in 1991 died of brain
cancer about six months after he put me on psych meds.

Since I feel I wad misdiagnosed, it sounds like a ready-made lawsuit. But
not only am I being treated right now by a clinic of which that deceased
shrink's hospital is the parent, but I really don't believe in revenge and
want to move on with my life.

Anyone want to comment?

Miki

To condemn one's past and say 'this should not have been' is
condemning one's present and saying 'this should not be' since one is
dependent on the other. And since the future is also dependent on the
present, then you are in effect condemning your whole life. That's how
I see it.

The doc did not make his decisions based on malice.

He based it on NOT BEING FIT TO PRACTISE PSYCHIATRY. Just like the hospital
made a silly-ass misdeed in hiring him a few months earlier knowing he had
brain cancer. That's my issue. But Phin has a point.

Misdiagnoses is a common thing in psychiatry. However the pills
certainly do something to your brain and quiting can induce sz
like symptoms, especially after you have been on a reasonable dose
for years. Some call it addiction to meds, they are drugs you know,
and they might as well give you drugs induced schizofrenia when
you suddenly quit with them.

I guess I can say that I am fully functional when on meds and don't
have any side affect from them besides 10 hours sleep every day.
There was a time when I thought that I made it without meds, for
almost a year and I started working again, but after half a year
the battery was fully empty and I couldn't make it in time to be
at work any longer en more, I took half the month free because
I couldn't drag myself to work any longer. I guess that are the
negative symptoms dropping by. After that I started meds again
and gave up working and unfortunately I discoverd cannabis and
it did me really well until I found it to become to expensive and
quited
the cannabis. After a month I was in a full blown psychosis with
voices again. Yes I have it, schizophrenia for sure. Even a month
ago I had voices when at 5mg of Zyprexa and had to go back
to cisordinol and now I feel perfect again.

My first p-doc said: "I think you have my problem." Gawd, what an ass he
was. The p-doc told me that he would feel that newspaper articles were
written just to speak to him personally.

My feeling is that in order to manage one's self, one needs to be objective
about what it is you are managing. If you are in denial about being a
scheezer, then why on earth would you take meds?

Just because my first p-doc was crazy doesn't mean that his diagnosis was
wrong.

Sorry.

Just wondering, did you also have paranormal contact when live
programs were on television? Did the advertisements come to you?
Were you also seeing connexions between collors you were seeing
everywhere and adding logic to them?

I might really be normal and only deluded that I'm sz.
I just THINK I'm sz when I'm really just a "Shit-for-Brains".
Maybe thats all it is......

If I asked a question in my mind, the next few words of the live TV would
seem to answer the question. (-but the p-doc had not been told about that
kind of stuff, partly because I didn't experience it until years later)

I'm not sure what you mean about the advertisements.

Colors? No, nothing going on there.

I was having the same kind of strange things with live TV.

You know about those one liners on adds you see on the streets
they gave me severe paranoia, because I thought they were about
me... With meds nowadays it seems absurd though..

Colours made me paranoia too.
