Misdiagnoses is a common thing in psychiatry. However the pills
certainly do something to your brain and quiting can induce sz
like symptoms, especially after you have been on a reasonable dose
for years. Some call it addiction to meds, they are drugs you know,
and they might as well give you drugs induced schizofrenia when
you suddenly quit with them.
I guess I can say that I am fully functional when on meds and don't
have any side affect from them besides 10 hours sleep every day.
There was a time when I thought that I made it without meds, for
almost a year and I started working again, but after half a year
the battery was fully empty and I couldn't make it in time to be
at work any longer en more, I took half the month free because
I couldn't drag myself to work any longer. I guess that are the
negative symptoms dropping by. After that I started meds again
and gave up working and unfortunately I discoverd cannabis and
it did me really well until I found it to become to expensive and
quited
the cannabis. After a month I was in a full blown psychosis with
voices again. Yes I have it, schizophrenia for sure. Even a month
ago I had voices when at 5mg of
Zyprexa and had to go back
to cisordinol and now I feel perfect again.
